I grew up deep in Appalachia, in the middle of nowhere. My childhood had a lot of challenges and changes, but one thing that never changed was my love of writing. I started learning to read at three years old, and was writing my own stories by four. I would tell stories and live other worlds and only come home when nudged down into reality. There are two things I've always wanted for my life: to be a teacher and to be a writer.

And now I get to be both.

I am currently working on an adult romantasy novel that I cannot wait to share, but we're quite a bit from that yet. There's another project in the works too, that is much closer to completion!

It is my goal to share my love of writing and what I create, but also to help others hone their craft and grow. Every day I seek new opportunities to grow. And I hope you will too.
